Medallion & Trouble

Before I get to the trouble and the medallion you all need a little background

This past week I had the opportunity to travel back home and to RPI to help GM with some events that they were hosting. Part of the deal was that I was going to get to drive some new cars. I drove a New Pontiac G6 hard top convertible along with the unreleased 2007 Saturn Sky Redline. Both cars were fun. I really liked the Sky, amazing car. I really want one... Anyways when I got home I had a 100,000 mile medallion waiting for me. Since I was driving these cars I had left mine in Michigan. When I went to pick it up this morning it went through the whole I don't feel like starting situation but a lot worse than "normal" after I started it once to move it from long term parking. I also noticed that the front end vibration which seems to be related to the tie rods has gotten worse, the tires seem all out of whack, and the brake power assist seems to be failing. Time to start diagnosing the issues one by one.

Proof again that the dealer is aptly called the stealer

I went to the Volvo dealer today to see what it would cost to get my left front tie rod replaced along with an alignment. I was told $325.00! Does this sound excessive to anyone? I went to the parts department and the part is $74.00. I think I'll give Belle Tire a call see what they want to replace it and do the alignment. If they are unreasonable as well then I'll just do it myself.
